The power behind our success story

Lily Renton

Lily Renton

Hey, I’m Lily, co-founder and the creative brain behind Organic Social Media. I’ve always loved expressing myself and talent, whether it’s performing on stage or online, and that passion naturally led me into the world of social media. Having taken my dads local business presence from zero to buzzing in several weeks and helped local performing arts and a local healthcare business build their social media presence from scratch, I know exactly what is required to get your future customers seeing you. By working alongside you on your social media journey I will thrive from watching you grow through simple, honest and informative content. This a game-changer. No “paid for” ads, no gimmicks… just real organic posts connecting you with real people. By teaming my skills up with my dad and tapping into his business building expertise I know that Organic Social Media will be a key ingredient to your future business success.

I look forward to welcoming you onboard!

Hi I’m Paul Renton, co-founder of Organic Social Media and proud owner of successful local business The Motor Broker. I’ve been in business for 25 years, and to be brutally honest social media was never really my thing or on my radar in terms of promoting the business in the future. That said, and with all the chat around social media marketing I decided around 18 months ago to bring my daughter Lily into the business with a view to creating a social media marketing test bed to increase and improve our social media presence without spending on paid for, sponsored and boosted ads. We quickly realised we were onto a winner. Lily took The Motor Broker to another level. Lily had created an organic method of marketing our business to an audience we didn’t even realise existed. Within 3-4 months, Lily took our social media from zero to buzzing with regular organic posts that got people talking, engaging and requesting our services. It made such a difference to my business, it turned a good local business into a real local business success, so we have decided to team up and share that success by launching “Organic Social Media” to help other local businesses do the same.

People spend the majority of their time on social media in one form or another looking for local services, products, businesses, events etc so it is important to ensure your business is in the mix and being seen.

The proof is now in the pudding and we know that success breeds success, so we welcome you to get onboard and come join us!

FAQ's

Organic social media refers to the non-paid activity you carry out on social platforms (such as posting content, engaging with the communities, optimising business profiles) to build your brand, increase visibility and foster authentic relationships. Unlike targeted paid ads, it’s about long-term community building, increased exposure and building a platform of trust for your future clients.

Because your audience is on social platforms and they look to brands and local businesses for authenticity, value and regular engagement. A strong organic presence helps build brand credibility, increases reach without continual ad spend, supports customer loyalty, and complements your overall marketing strategy.

Organic social media activity is usually a medium-to-long term strategy. While you might see early improvements (e.g., in engagement) within a few weeks, more significant outcomes (such as growth in followers, leads or brand awareness) typically take several months of consistent activity, content and optimisation.
Remember: Your audience might not need you right now, but if you build trust and consistently tell them who you are and what you can do for them, they’ll engage with you when they are in market for your products or services.

Our standard £179 + VAT Per Month subscription gets you seen on Facebook and Instagram, however, we can get you seen on LinkedIn too if you wish to upgrade your subscription to just £229 + VAT per month.

Not entirely. Organic Social Media builds and maintains the foundations for you (brand, trust, community) while paid advertising helps amplify reach, accelerate growth or target specific campaigns.

We liaise and work with you on a daily basis to gather and create content. We can create content for you (graphics, captions) and we can work with the assets you supply. Either way, we’ll align the style and messaging to your brand.

We work with a range of businesses, from start-ups to established brands, B2B and B2C. The key is that the business is willing to commit to consistent social-media activity and sees value in building long-term community and brand presence.

Typically the process is: (1) Enquiry – you tell us about your business, goals and current social-media status; (2) Discovery call – we meet (virtually or in person) to clarify objectives, audience, content style; (3) Proposal – we present a tailored strategy, scope of work, timeline and costs; (4) Onboarding – we gather access, branding assets, content preferences and begin the work; (5) We go live!
